With the newest firmware update, all Photoneo 3D cameras running on firmware 1.10 are fully compatible with GigE Vision 2.1. This new feature extends the integrability options for Photoneo 3D Sensors:

• C++ / C# API for programmers and custom application development
• GenICam (GenTL) and GigE Vision for direct connections to 3rd-party applications (examples below)

GigE Vision is a network-based interface, which means that it is not necessary to install any driver software on the customer’s computer to operate the device from GigE compatible software.

The firmware version 1.10 is already available for your existing devices via firmware updater. Devices built after 1 June 2023 will automatically be delivered with FW 1.10.
